About Us Both owners of Sunsets At Havasu are skilled and experienced professionals with over 20 years of experience in the medical field between them. They have worked extensively in areas of health care administration and management as well as direct patient care. Both owners have extensive background in information technology. Their goal is to incorporate computer technology into their business to keep up with current healthcare trends in technology. Together, they have built what they believe is one of the finest and most professional assisted living programs in the business. Furthermore, both owners have professional degrees and bring their experience and personal commitment in meeting the needs of the clients. Unlike large institutionalized nursing facilities, families and residents alike have direct access to the owners, not a management team. |  
| MISSION STATEMENT Sunsets At Havasu's mission is to assist our elderly to live to their highest potential as individuals who seek independence, good health, well-being, and personal fulfillment. Our goal is to serve without discrimination with recognition of each individual’s privacy, dignity, worth and wholeness while accepting them into our family. COMFORTABLE, PLEASANT ACCOMODATIONS Each resident’s personal environment is thoughtfully designed to enhance a lifestyle that stresses comfort and individual needs. Private E-mail addresses are assigned upon request at no extra charge to the resident. This allows easy accessibility to leave a message, or compose a letter for the client 24 hours a day. The resident can then at their leisure read directly from the computer monitor, or print out a hard copy for personal safe-keeping. Scanned photos of friends and loved ones can also be sent to their private E-mail address. Purified water, cable TV, complimentary linen and laundry, housekeeping services, all reflect an attention to detail that is based on years of experience and concern for the needs of the residents. For our clients’ convenience, scheduled visits from a hairdresser and a manicurist are made. A massage therapist comes to the facility on quarterly basis. Telephone jacks for those wishing to have a private phone, along with personal shopping and other local errands, reinforces this attention to individualized concerns. Sunsets At Havasu maintains the highest level of medical standards and care. All medication is administered under the careful supervision of the resident manager. Company history
Allan and Tina opened Aloha Friendship Center, a carehome in Wahiawa, Hawaii, in May 1999. Tina decided to pursue her master's degree as a physician's assistant because of her direct care with residents in our home. In order to pursue her dream, we left Hawaii and relocated to Arizona. We decided to continue to provide personal and quality care to the elderly in Arizona, spreading the "aloha spirit" to families and individuals we meet along the way. |
